Court Services Victoria (CSV) is the Victorian Government department responsible for the establishment and management of the all court facilities across the state.

The Problem

As the impressive Bendigo Law Courts building project was nearing completion, the CSV marketing and communications team got in touch with us because they were looking for a local production company to help them present the opening and launch of the Courts to the wider Bendigo region.

There were so many intricate details and features of the building that it made what might seem like a simple video, a challenge to produce. Being spoilt for choice of good content to feature is a nice problem to have though.

CSV also wanted to produce a couple of videos that would help public and professional users of the court to both navigate the facilities as well as utilise the technology and new systems.

The Solution

This new court was very different to the old historic one that everyone was used to and video worked perfectly as a medium to help people feel comfortable with the space they were going to enter and where to go if they needed help while they were there.

We worked closely with the CSV team to develop a plan and concept for the video and negotiate filming around a busy building team that were putting the finishing touches on the building throughout our production window.

The final videos capture the intentionality and beauty of the whole project and presents it in a clear and simple way.
